Day 26: Five Minute Friday - VOICE
Today I am linking up with Lisa-Jo's Five Minute Friday LIVE at Allume!
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking. 2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community.
OK, are you ready? Won’t you please give me your best five minutes on: VOICE
I feel like over the last six months all I have heard about has been about voice. Everyone has a story, everyone has something to say. In the sphere of Christian bloggers we often say that everyone has something God wants to say through you.
I struggled for a while with this. Something amazing happened though when I started to write, I heard my voice. All of the musings in my head, the words I wanted to speak but couldn't order came out. I have a voice, a strong voice.
I enjoy listening to it. I am so glad that writing is a way for me to use my voice.
Don't every think you don't have a voice! God can give you one word and lives can be changed, hearts can be touched. Transformation, relationships, love are all things that are forged with words whether written or spoken. It's a wonderful thing.
You have a voice , use it. Pray that God will use it. Offer it to Him and you might be surprised what you hear when you got for it.
