Memory Verses on Stewardship

IMG_5177_650_edited-1.jpg

Friday I posted about Stewardship. I believe this is one of the most important concepts we can teach our kids, especially when it comes to money. God has given us valuable possessions to take care of. These include our time, talent, money, and even the earth. We know this because the Bible tell us.

Verses for this month:

  • God’s gifts of grace come in many forms. Each of you has received a gift in order to serve others. You should use it faithfully. 1 Peter 4:10 (NIVr)
  • And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 (ESV)
  • “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? Luke 16:10-11 (NIV)
  • No one can serve two masters at the same time. He will hate one of them and love the other. Or he will be faithful to one and dislike the other. You can’t serve God and Money at the same time. Matthew 6:24 (NIVr)
