I am a big believer in chores for kids and getting my little ones to help out around the house.
As a mom of young children I found myself overwhelmed with everything it took to manage my home. I needed help and a full time maid was out of the question. So what's a weary mom to do?
All the mommy and me classes we took had a cleanup song. I witnessed my kids put away blocks and instruments. I realized, If they can clean up there, I can put them to work at home and that's what I did.
While I was excited at the prospect of free labor, there were other good reasons for my kids to start doing chores.
