6 Ways to Connect your Children with History
I love learning about history. Even more than that I love sharing history with my children. It not only imparts information to them, it shapes their future.
There are many ways I make it fun and interactive. One of the way is by the Bible and other books. The Bible is rich in history, but there are things that get lost in their cultural context. The Adventure Bible Handbook helps with that. It’s the story of four children who travel back in time in search of their father who’s gone missing on an archeological expedition. Not only does it take your kids on an adventure, it teaches them history. It includes maps, pictures of artifacts, and historical paintings that help the kids understand biblical references. Pair that with the Adventure Bible and you're in for loads of fun.
