Scripture Memory and Prayer Cards for Kids – Friendship

It’s time to go back to school and my kids are looking forward to seeing their friends again. They’ve spent a handful of time with some of them these last few months, but for the most part it’s been difficult to connect because everyone’s travel and camp schedules have been different.

Once they get to school they’ll be reunited with old friends, be re-acquainted with others, and even meet new kids. I want to equip my children to make good choices when it comes to friendships so I am teaching them what the Bible says about making new friends, being a good companion, and choosing wisely who they hang out with.

Verses for this month:

  • Anyone who walks with wise people grows wise. But a companion of foolish people suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20 (NIrV)
  • Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT)
  • A friend loves at all times. He is there to help when trouble comes. Proverbs 17:17 (NIrV)
  • Love one another with brotherly affection. Out do one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10 (ESV)
