Over the summer I thought it would be nice to give the Read It Pray It Cards a fun and fresh update. So, thanks to Megan Jackson, they have a new look. Digital and printed subscriptions, which include the new design, are now available in my Etsy shop.

Last month the featured topic was EDUCATION. My little ones finally went back to school on September 9th and although they looked forward to seeing their friends, they're were not thrilled about getting back to homework. I thought it would be the perfect time to remind them what God's Word say about being a good student and the importance of learning.

This month I am focusing on the topic of JOY. My family and I are in a season where many things have the potential to steal our joy. We're living through a major renovation, while wonderful, it brings with it disruptions, noisy afternoons, rearranged rooms, and many things out of place. There's also the usual day-to-day which includes more homework then we'd like combined with a VERY active sports schedule.

So, during this season I want my little ones to know that as they spend time getting to know God they will be filled with JOY, (Psalm 16:11) amid their ups and downs, successes and failures (Isaiah 12:6). Through the power of the Holy Spirit they can have hope to encourage not only themselves (Romans 15:13) but others because He is their strength and shield (Psalm 28:7).
